The ISEQ index of Irish shares was down slightly this morning, falling just 2.53 points to 9147.38.
Drinks company C&C Group plc today revealed that revenue growth for the quarter to 31 May, 2007 shows an increase of 15% compared with the same period last year. This performance primarily reflects the growth of Magners in Great Britain and Bulmer’s continuing out-performance of the LAD market in Ireland.
Total branded cider sales volumes, in the first quarter, increased by 38% on the prior year. This primarily reflects growth of Magners in Great Britain of 89% and Bulmers in Ireland of 2%.
There were down €1.61 to €8.53 this morning.
The financial houses were all up: AIB jumped €0.05 to €20.31, Anglo grew €0.15 to €14.45, BOI climbed €0.15 to €14.77 and IL&P was up €0.26 to €18.42.
