Gardaí question two after post office raid

Gardaí in Co Galway are questioning two 21-year-old men in connection with a raid on the village post office in Killimor yesterday.

Gardaí in Co Galway are questioning two 21-year-old men in connection with a raid on the village post office in Killimor yesterday.

A sum of money was recovered when the two were arrested near Portumna just after 9pm last night.

Both men are being questioned at Loughrea Garda Station where they can be held for up to 24 hours.

Their arrest came after a five hour search.
