Gardaí have released two men who were being questioned in connection with an alleged hit-and-run incident in Galway.

Gardaí have released two men who were being questioned in connection with an alleged hit-and-run incident in Galway.

The two men, one in his 40s and one in his 50s were arrested following the incident on the Headford Road yesterday afternoon.

A woman in her 40s who was seriously injured in the incident is being treated in hospital.

A file on the matter is being prepared for the DPP.
