Lady Gaga will play in Dublin's O2 on October 17 as part of her forthcoming European tour, it was announced today.
The US star has lined up the Dublin date plus four British shows as she sets off on her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball tour.
She is said to have sold four million concert tickets during her career after finding worldwide fame in early 2009.
However sales of the singer’s much-hyped Artpop album, released last year, failed to meet expectations and did not even figure in the bestsellers of last year in the UK.
The European dates follow a multi-month North American tour which kicks off with seven sold-out shows at the Roseland Ballroom in New York, the last gigs at the legendary concert hall before it is demolished.
Gaga now has a new manager, Bobby Campbell, after parting ways Troy Carter last year, and she's back to her best after undergoing hip surgery.
She wrote on her Little Monsters website yesterday (28.01.14): "I know you're anxious for more ARTPOP.
"I am working so so so so hard and the wait will be worth it. We are 100% back on track and I'm busy creating behind the scenes. I miss you so much! (sic)"
Tickets for her Dublin gig go on sale February 14.
