Gardaí investigate assault on man in Tipperary
Gardaí in Tipperary are investigating a serious assault on a man overnight.
He was attacked on the Main Street in Tipperary at around one o'clock this morning.
It is understood he received injuries to his neck, and was taken to Clonmel Hospital where he is now in a stable condition.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
