Four men were arrested today in connection with the murder of teenager Daniel McAnaspie.

Four men were arrested today in connection with the murder of teenager Daniel McAnaspie.

Three of the men – two in their mid-20s and another in his mid-30s – were detained in the Blanchardstown area of west Dublin this morning.

A fourth man was detained later.

The 17-year-old’s body was found dumped in a ditch on farm land in Co Meath on May 13.

Daniel, who was in Health Service Executive care, vanished after socialising with a group of people in Blanchardstown on February 25.

Two of the men were being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Finglas and Blanchardstown Garda Stations.

A third man, in his mid-20s, was being detained at Cabra Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The fourth man was also being held at Finglas Garda Station.
