Summit police arrest 96 in raid on protesters' HQ

A total of 96 anti-capitalist protesters were arrested when police raided a school they were using as a headquarters during the G8 summit.

A total of 96 anti-capitalist protesters were arrested when police raided a school they were using as a headquarters during the G8 summit.

Anti-riot officers showed off an array of possible weapons seized in the raid last night.

They also said one of their officers was stabbed during the operation but he was not hurt because he was protected by his body armour.
