Kerry lead Galway by a point with 15 minutes gone in their All-Ireland quarter-final football clash at Croke Park.

Kerry lead Galway by a point with 15 minutes gone in their All-Ireland quarter-final football clash at Croke Park.

Colm Cooper and Mike Frank Russell opened the scoring for Kerry, but Galway pulled a point back.

Then Michael Donnellan burst through for a solo goal, before captain Padraig Joyce pulled them further ahead.

However, two further points each from Mike Frank Russell and Tomas O'Se have put Kerry back into the lead.
