ISME has reacted angrily to the Tánaiste Mary Coughlan's announcement of the second call to the Employment Subsidy Scheme, which discriminates against the vulnerable firms employing less than ten employees.
The Irish Small & Medium Enterprises Association said: "True to form, the Government has shown its ignorant indifference to indigenous industries by excluding the vast majority of SMEs from a much-needed support."
ISME Chief Executive, Mark Fielding said: "While the initiative will be a God-send to some larger businesses, the Association would plead with the Minister to revise the terms of the scheme to include all enterprises."
