King’s Game (Warner Vision, €21.99) is a fascinating political drama directed by Nikolj Arcel, adapted from Niels Krause-Kjaer, a former political spin doctor.
The tale of an obsessive reporter who unearths corruption in a Danish political party, and the political machinations that ensue make for a very dramatic film that aren’t a world removed from some recent events here.
The extras include an audio commentary, plus a raft of featurettes, such as bloopers, alternate scene and some info about the truth behind the film. Fascinating viewing.
