Penneys to expand Mary St store

Retail giant Penneys has unveiled phase one of a major refurbishment of its Mary Street store in Dublin.

Retail giant Penneys has unveiled phase one of a major refurbishment of its Mary Street store in Dublin.

The company has invested significantly in its flagship store, which originates back to 1969.

Today Penneys - also known as Primark - has 237 stores in seven countries with more store openings planned for this year.

The phased refurbishment programme will result in expanded retail space with an additional 21,500 square feet making the Mary Street store the largest in Ireland.
