Manchester City midfielder Trevor Sinclair has been ruled out for the rest of the season following a scan on his knee injury.

Manchester City midfielder Trevor Sinclair has been ruled out for the rest of the season following a scan on his knee injury.

The scan revealed the 31-year-old former England international has suffered a micro-fracture of the femur and ligament damage and he will be on crutches for three months.

City’s Wales international Ben Thatcher, meanwhile, faces a month on the sidelines after an ankle operation.
