Conor McGregor tells fans: 'Vote Yes for equality!'

Conor McGregor is the latest Irish sports star to come out in support of a Yes vote in Friday’s marriage equality referendum.

The UFC fighter took time out of preparing for his July title fight to post a message on Twitter encouraging everyone to vote in favour of the change.

McGregor said: “Myself and my team are urging everyone to please VOTE YES TO EQUALITY! Every human deserves equal rights”.

He added the hashtag, #WeAreAllOne to his tweet.

WWE’s Sheamus has also declared his support for the Yes campaign, telling his Irish Twitter followers: “Get out on #May22nd & #VoteYes for a better Ireland made by this generation”.
