Body found with gunshot wounds in Offaly
Gardai have launched a full investigation after the body of a man was found with gunshot wounds in Co Offaly.
The man, in his mid-twenties, was found dead in a house at Bellmont, Birr, at around 9.15pm.
The body remains at the scene pending the arrival of the Garda Technical Bureau and the State Pathologist.
