Funeral held for Spences

A funeral has been held for rugby player Nevin Spence, his father and brother, who were killed in a slurry tank accident at their farm near Belfast.

A funeral has been held for rugby player Nevin Spence, his father and brother, who were killed in a slurry tank accident at their farm near Belfast.

The tributes were led by daughter and sister of those killed, Emma Spence - who herself was admitted to hospital, after twice climbing into the tank in vain attempts to help her family members.

Nevin's coffin was carried out of the church draped in his Ulster shirt and a public memorial will be held this weekend at the side's home in Ravenhill.
