Cowen indicates new scheme to help home buyers
The Taoiseach has indicated that the Government is to put a new scheme in place to help people purchase homes.
The package is aimed at helping those who cannot get credit from financial institutions and is being designed to stimulate positive movement in the construction sector.
Brian Cowen made his remarks in a speech at the opening of the Fianna Fáil two-day "think-in" in Galway.
