Two quizzed after €2m heroin seizure

A man in his forties and a woman in her thirties are being questioned over a massive heroin seizure in Dublin yesterday.

A man in his forties and a woman in her thirties are being questioned over a massive heroin seizure in Dublin yesterday.

Six kilos of the drug, with an estimated street value of €2m, were discovered when officers from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation stopped and searched a car on the Baldoyle Road at 2pm.

The pair are being questioned at Santry Garda Station under section 4 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
