Blackburn 0 Arsenal 2

Thierry Henry’s free-kick secured Arsenal victory over Blackburn and maintained their nine-point lead at the top of the Premiership.

Henry struck in the 57th minute and then Robert Pires made sure of the three points with a second goal three minutes from time.

Blackburn’s best chance had come from Andy Cole but Jens Lehmann denied him.
