A man has died following a motorcycle collision in Dublin.

A man has died following a motorcycle collision in Dublin.

The crash - involving a car and a motorbike - happened at the junction of Killbarron Park and Cromcastle Road in Coolock at around 1.20pm.

The driver of the motorbike - a man in his late teens - was brought to Beaumont Hospital and has since been pronounced dead.

The driver of the car - a woman - was also taken to Beaumont Hospital with minor injuries.

Local diversions are in place while Gardai examine the scene.
