HSE announces new position to develop national programmes

The HSE has announced the appointment of a new National Director of Risk, Quality and Clinical Care.

The HSE has announced the appointment of a new National Director of Risk, Quality and Clinical Care.

Dr Philip Crowley, who is currently Deputy Chief Medical Officer with the Department of Health, will take up the newly created position in two weeks.

In a statement, the HSE said the role aims to provide leadership for both the development of national clinical programmes and the strategic management of risk and quality.
