The funeral of the Ukranian teenager who was stabbed to death on the outskirts of Limerick city at the weekend has taken place in Co Clare.

The funeral of the Ukranian teenager who was stabbed to death on the outskirts of Limerick city at the weekend has taken place in Co Clare.

Roman Vysochan,16, was found lying on a footpath in Westbury with a stab wound to the chest on Saturday night. Another teenager was also injured in the incident.

Earlier today, a 19-year-old man appeared before Limerick District Court charged in connection with the double stabbing.

John O'Loughlin, of no fixed abode, but with an address at Mungret Street in Limerick was charged with assault causing harm to the injured 16-year-old.
