Security staff at Dublin Airport are considering all-out strike action as part of a dispute over the hiring of part-time workers.
The staff, who operate airport searches, believe they should be offered overtime rather than have their work done by part-timers.
The 400 workers have voted overwhelmingly for industrial action and their union, SIPTU, is meeting this afternoon to decide what form the action should take.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, branch secretary Dermot O'Loughlin said anger was so high that all-out strike action was a real possibility.
