The media is camped outside the Four Courts awaiting news from Liam Lawlor's attempted appeal against a prison sentence imposed on him.

The West Dublin TD has until 2pm this afternoon to try to put his week in Mountjoy Prison for contempt on hold, following his refusal to co-operate with the Payments and Planning Tribunal.

Journalists are also camped outside the Dáil Deputy's home and Mountjoy itself.
