No chance of a white Christmas
Anyone harbouring hopes of a White Christmas this year will be disappointed.
Met Éireann has said there is no chance of snow this year, although most parts of the country will see a lot of frost and ice tonight and tomorrow morning.
It also says Christmas Day is likely to be a cold, clear and blustery day but that there is a good chance of fog tonight, so motorists should take care.
