A two-headed pig has been saved from the abattoir in China.

The porker, which shares two snouts, two ears and one eye was born in Jiangxi province, China, and had been previously due for slaughter, but its owners have now insisted that the animal is cared for instead.

However, the vet looking after it does not believe the four-legged porker will survive for long anyway due to it suffering from polycephaly, a condition of having more than one head.
