Biel and Timberlake welcome new baby

Jessica Biel has given birth to a baby boy.

The 33-year-old actress and husband Justin Timberlake are "ecstatic" about their new arrival, Silas Randall Timberlake, People magazine reports.

The couple had kept their exciting news a secret until Justin's 34th birthday earlier this year, when he tweeted alongside a photograph of him kissing his wife's belly: "Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT (sic)"

And Justin couldn't help but gush about the 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry' actress recently, revealing his excitement about their "greatest creation yet".

He said: "You can’t have innovation without creation. I want to thank my best friend, my favourite collaborator, my wife, Jessica, at home, who is watching. Honey, I can’t wait to see our greatest creation yet.

"Don’t worry, daddy is headed home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on."

Meanwhile, a source previously claimed Justin was incredibly protective of his wife on one of their last night's out together before they gave birth.

An eyewitness said: "Justin protectively stuck by her all night and they were telling a friend how excited they are for the baby. It seemed like they were enjoying their shared secret.

"[He was] watching Jessica with a huge proud smile [and telling friends], 'This is for sure the last time we’ll go out before the baby.' Justin seemed beside himself with excitement to be a dad."
