Officials from the Association of Secondary Teachers have dismissed as being "without foundation" reports that a fresh wave of industrial action is on the cards.
The ASTI comments come in the wake of newspaper reports which claim that teachers are threatening a ban on oral exams and a fresh series of regional strikes if they don't get what they want from the Labour Court.
ASTI General Secretary Charlie Lennon has this afternoon moved to assure students that teachers are committed to the Labour Court process for the time being.
