Amoruso still undecided on future

Lorenzo Amoruso insists he still hopeful of a move to West Ham - despite failing to agree personal terms.

The Italian flew out to Florida with the rest of his Rangers team-mates team this morning but admitted talks with the Premiership side could continue upon his return.

And contrary to reports the Ibrox stopper isn't keen on a move back to Italy should the move to West Ham fall through permanently.

"The situation is simple," said Amoruso.

"My agent and myself had talks with West Ham at the weekend about a possible deal to take me to Upton Park.

"However, there as a difference in what I wanted and what they were willing to offer.

"So I will go to Florida and when I come back we will see if we can sort something out.

"If not, I will continue to give 100 per cent for Rangers. I am going to Florida with the rest of the Rangers first-team squad and I will train very hard because the way things stand just now I want to my best for Rangers Football Club.

"However, if things change when I get back in terms of contractual negotiations then it is still possible that I will leave Ibrox but if not then it's no a problem, I will stay and do my best for Rangers and try to help them win some more trophies.

"If something is going to happen then it will probably happen next week or in the next fortnight at the very latest.

"If nothing has happened by that time then it is unlikely that I will move on but, as I said, it's not a problem, I will do my best until the end of the season.

"Going back to the Serie A is another option but, to be honest, I won't be in a rush to go back to Italy.

"I'm contracted to Rangers and will definitely play to the best of my ability if the manager Dick Advocaat gives me the chance.

"The way it stands just now I am in the same situation as I have been for the last three-and-a-half years - an employee of Rangers Football Club.

"If the deal goes through with West Ham United then I will go but if not then I will remain at Ibrox."
