Argentina coach Marcelo Loffreda is eager to get his men working hard after they arrive on Sunday in Pensicola, Florida to begin training for the World Cup.
A squad of 41 players will be put through their paces at the Athlete’s Performance/The Andrews Institute in Florida from July 1 to 15.
Loffreda, who must later trim the squad to 30 players, said: “We want to train well with a strong and solid base. We are looking for the players to come through in a short and tough time of preparation.”
Loffreda is delighted to work at a facility used by many leading gridiron teams.
“Being in a place like that is something new for us,” he said. “We had the chance to do it and now we are going to take full advantage.
“When we return to Buenos Aires we are going to work on tactics and we will not push the players harder than we will in the USA.”
