Gardaí name victims of Dublin accident

Gardaí have named three people who died when their car collided with a parked truck in north Dublin early this morning.

Gardaí have named three people who died when their car collided with a parked truck in north Dublin early this morning.

The victims were Christopher McGowan and Helen Power, both aged 30 and from Parkgate Street, and 42-year-old Thomas Shortall, from Moate in Co Westmeath.

The three died when their car collided with a truck at Hanlon's Corner on the North Circular Road at around 3.20am.

A fourth person was also seriously injured in the crash.
