Gardaí at Tullamore are investigating a single car collision that occurred at Walsh Island, Co Offaly this morning.

Gardaí at Tullamore are investigating a single car collision that occurred at Walsh Island, Co Offaly this morning.

A car hit a ditch and the 29-year-old male driver who was alone was fatally injured. He was taken to Tullamore Hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí at Tullamore on 0506-21305.
