Low turn-out for Bethlehem service
The religious city of Bethlehem has seen one of its lowest turnouts of pilgrims on Christmas Eve.
The Israelis are blaming Yasser Arafat and the on-going violence in the region.
The Palestinian leader was barred from the city last night. Spokesman for the Israeli government, Raanan Gissin, says he could have avoided the ban by taking action against militant groups.
