Harney announces 90 new jobs for Waterford

The Tanaiste, Mary Harney, has announced plans by two Waterford companies to hire up to 90 new workers.

The Tanaiste, Mary Harney, has announced plans by two Waterford companies to hire up to 90 new workers.

Ms Harney said ABB Transformers was planning to expand its current facility in Waterford, while paint manufacturer Biopin was planning to establish a new facility at Dungarvan business park.

The two investments were worth a total of €5m, she said.
