Gardaí arrest three after Wexford cannabis seizure

Three people have been arrested after the seizure of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €164,000 in Co. Wexford.

Three people have been arrested after the seizure of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €164,000 in Co. Wexford.

Gardaí made the find after they swooped on a house in the Glenbrien area of Enniscorthy, as part of an ongoing operation into the cultivation of cannabis in the county.

Gardaí from Enniscorthy, the Wexford Divisional Drug Unit and the Garda National Drug Unit were involved in the operation.

A man and a woman in their 40s, and a second man in his 20s were arrested at the scene.

They are all currently detained under Drug Trafficking legislation at Enniscorthy Garda Station.
