BT chooses Cape Clear as web services technology provider

Cape Clear Software, a provider of web services technology, has announced that British Telecommunications has chosen Cape Clear Software's CapeConnect product as its preferred web services platform.

Cape Clear Software, a provider of web services technology, has announced that British Telecommunications has chosen Cape Clear Software's CapeConnect product as its preferred web services platform.

BT identified web services as the potential framework for ensuring interoperability between the company's diverse IT platforms.

Web services also enable the deployment of new applications built on those systems over the internet.

CapeConnect has been chosen for its support of open industry standards such as XML, SOAP, and WSDL and its capability to work with a wide range of different IT Platforms and tools.
