Actress Keira Knightley was stunned when she first discovered her writer mother's penchant for penning naughty fiction - after finding a saucy book in her school library.
Knightley's mother, Sharman MacDonaled, was one of the writers at the forefront of the sexual revolution and her books were popular among lusty teens - something her daughter discovered at school.
The 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' star recalls: "She made a career writing about sex… She had one novel called 'Night Night', and it was in our school library.
"It was the one that had been taken out the most, because it opens with a sex scene, or somebody fondling their breasts.
"I remember being about 12 and finding it and being mortified. I couldn't believe my mum had come out with such filth."
