The parents of a County Armagh student say they are "hopeful" after she woke up from a coma after being viciously attacked in Chicago.

The parents of a County Armagh student say they are "hopeful" after she woke up from a coma after being viciously attacked in Chicago.

Natasha McShane, 23, remains in a serious condition in intensive care following the incident last month when she and a friend were assaulted with a baseball bat.

Two people have been charged in connection with the attack.
