Dublin to host international cancer conference

More than 500 international experts are due to attend a global conference on cancer being held in Dublin later this year.

More than 500 international experts are due to attend a global conference on cancer being held in Dublin later this year.

Delegates at the conference will discuss the role played by researchers, healthcare professionals, governments and other groups in tackling the growing incidence of cancer worldwide.

Ten million new cancer cases are diagnosed globally each year and six million people die from the disease annually.

The conference takes place between November 17 and 19.
