Police in the North have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the murder of a Lithuanian man in Co Tyrone, last month.

Police in the North have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the murder of a Lithuanian man in Co Tyrone, last month.

Twenty-three-year-old migrant worker Giedrius Vainauskas died in hospital after being stabbed at a house in Dungannon on January 16.

An 18-year-old man from the town appeared in court last week charged with murdering Mr Vainauskas and attempting to murder a Polish man who was also injured in the stabbing incident.
