Kylie Minogue's lowest moment during her breast cancer battle has been shown in a harrowing new documentary.

The Australian pop star collapsed during a show in Manchester, England, in the weeks leading up to her diagnosis and the dramatic footage featured on documentary 'White Diamond: A Personal Portrait of Kylie Minogue', which aired in Britain and Ireland on Monday night.

The footage showed a distressed Minogue desperately trying to complete a song while obviously very ill and weak with pain.

Minogue then leaves the stage and collapses as aides rush to help her. She is then carried back to her dressing room by a security guard.

In the revealing film, the singer recalls: "I was really weak, dizzy and couldn't sing.

"I was hyperventilating and panicking and in tears and then we stopped and there was this gap that seemed like it went (on) forever.

"At the end of the medley I go through the back doors and at the top of the stairs I just sat there and burst into tears with my head in my hands."
