Ouija Board could reappear at Longchamp on Sunday week, where the Prix de l’Opéra rather than the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is her likely target.
Lord Derby’s multiple Group One winner has featured in two of the most thrilling finishes of the season in her most recent starts.
After pipping Alexander Goldrun in an epic duel for the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, the five-year-old mare was just touched off by Irish Derby winner Dylan Thomas in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown last time.
“She’s in very good nick,” said trainer Ed Dunlop.
“We’re thinking about France. We’ll keep an eye on the weather and see how she is, but she came out of the Irish race in very good condition and she’s well.
“We’ve got the Prix de l’Opéra and the Arc as options. We’d lean towards the Opéra, I would imagine, and obviously see how she is.”
