Man due in court in connection with Smithfield shooting

A man is due to appear before Dublin District Court later this morning, charged in connection with a shooting incident at Smithfield Horse Market in Dublin.

A man is due to appear before Dublin District Court later this morning, charged in connection with a shooting incident at Smithfield Horse Market in Dublin.

Two men from the same family were injured in the gun attack at the north inner city fair on March 6.

The 21-year-old man was arrested in Dublin on Saturday and held under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

He is due to appear before the court at 10.30am.
