Lack of extras let down ER release
Despite the comings and goings of cast members in recent years, hospital drama ER still retains its ability to entertain, thanks to fine writing and some excellent new actors.
The highlight of ER: The Complete Seventh Season is the 150th episode, involving a train wreck where hospital staff become both victims and helpers.
Also experiencing trouble is Abby’s (Maura Tierney) relationship with Kovac (Goran Visnjic) when her dizzy mum (great cameo here by Sally Field) arrives suffering from bipolar disorder.
Unfortunately, there are no extras available on the DVD, a real pain in the neck for the show’s fans.
