Safety guide launced for visitors

The Tourist Victim Support Service has launched a new guide to help visitors to Ireland keep safe and avoid crime during the stay.

The Tourist Victim Support Service has launched a new guide to help visitors to Ireland keep safe and avoid crime during the stay.

The service said 627 tourists sought its help last year, the majority of whom continued with their holiday in Ireland.

It said US tourists were the largest group seeking support after becoming victims of crime.
