Stormy weather conditions to ease off
The stormy weather that has been sweeping across the country in recent days looks set to continue until the middle of this week.
However, forecasters say the worst of the storm has passed and conditions should improve over the coming day or two.
Winds are expected to remain strong today, but not as strong as the gales that have been battering Ireland in recent days.
At one stage, winds of up to 150km/h were recorded in Donegal, causing structural damage and widespread power cuts.
