Woman appears before Navan District Court

The 40-year-old woman, who has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Kilcock man, has appeared before a special sitting of the Navan District Court this afternoon.

The 40-year-old woman, who has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Kilcock man, has appeared before a special sitting of the Navan District Court this afternoon.

The 52-year-old victim of the stabbing has not yet been named by the Gardai but it has been revealed that he was attacked at a flat on Church Street in Kilcock in the early hours of yesterday morning.

He was rushed to James Connolly memorial hospital in Blanchardstown but his injuries proved fatal.

The accused woman was remanded in custody with consent to bail and she is due to appear in court again in Dunshaughlin on Tuesday.
