Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce hopes to have Antoine Sibierski available for tomorrow’s FA Cup encounter with Scunthorpe at Eastlands.
The French midfielder missed Wednesday’s home defeat by Tottenham with a back injury but he has responded to treatment and is in contention to face a Scunthorpe side managed by Pearce’s former Nottingham Forest team-mate Brian Laws.
Claudio Reyna (broken ankle) and Danny Mills (shin) are definitely out, while City are hoping to receive international clearance so new loan signing Albert Riera can play.
Squad: James, De Vlieger, Onuoha, Sun, Sommeil, Dunne, Distin, Thatcher, Jordan, Sinclair, Croft, Barton, Ireland, Musampa, Riera, Cole, Vassell, Wright-Phillips, Fowler.
