Fulham 2 Bolton 0

Andy Cole scored his first goals for Fulham and his 200th in league competition to beat Bolton in an exciting return to Craven Cottage for Chris Coleman’s side.

Cole, a summer signing from Blackburn, wanted the credit for the opener after six minutes following a big deflection from Zat Knight’s powerful shot.

And eight minutes from time after a number of near misses the former Manchester United and Newcastle star latched onto Claus Jensen’s through-ball to slot the second.
