Sligo football star Gerry McGowan will be sidelined for two months after breaking his collar bone.

Sligo football star Gerry McGowan will be sidelined for two months after breaking his collar bone.

McGowan is a key member of James Kearins' inherited Yeats County panel, but suffered the injury at the weekend in the league against Laois.

Meanwhile, Kearins is delighted to welcome back both Dara McGarty and Ciaran Quinn following spells abroad for the pair.
