An official attendance of 56,296 has seen Kerry dominant in the first half of the second All-Ireland quarter-final at Croke Park this afternoon.

Full-forward Declan O'Sullivan got the Kingdom motoring towards their double scores advantage at the break.

He scored his first championship goal after just two minutes and 40 seconds, finishing a fast-paced move with a low, left footed drive past Shane Curran and into the left hand corner of the Roscommon net.

Inside the first 20 minutes, five of Kerry's forward had found the target, with the metronome free taking of Dara O'Cinnéide most impressive, tallying four frees.

Roscommon had their chances though as Kerry seemingly eased off, surprised at the space being given to them by Tommy Carr's men.

Karol Mannion had two goal chances, the second saw him shoot meekly at Declan O'Keefe and Frankie Dolan (0-2 (1f)) flashed a shot over O'Keefe on 21 minutes with a goal on the horizon.

Three points from the tandem of Seamus O'Neill and Stephen Lohan have kept Roscommon in touch.
